Rim Joist Insulation Improves Temperature Control in Bayfield, WI

These homeowners in Bayfield, WI reached out to DBS for help with reducing heating and cooling costs in their home. 

Dr. Energy Saver® Design Specialist, Hunter Riley went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate. Hunter measured where heat was being lost and found the rim joists to be a problematic area. The solution was to install 3"  inch thick closed cell spray foam along the rim joists. This creates an airtight connection and eliminates outdoor air from entering the home. A DBS Foreman and their production crew did a great job installing the insulation. 

This home is now healthy, safe, and comfortable all year round!
